Our Employment Support Project previously in partnership with Islington Council and Department of Work and Pensions Job Centre Plus became exclusively a CASS project when that partnership ended and we are now working with a variety of other organisations.

Participation is open to all job seekers including traineeships and work experience leading to seeking permanent employment.

Applicants should contact us in the first instance by email info@cassadvice.org. You are also required to send in your CV when you apply and we will send you a standard application form which will need to be completed in full and sent back to us. You will then be placed on to our database to match available vacancies with your chosen job areas within the London Borough of Islington. You must state your contact details, postcode and the job areas you are seeking for on the standard application form.

We continue to provide advice to a large number of disabled people. Work experience is also available to disabled people who would like to gain experience to enable them to find work.

Overall the future is looking positive and we aim to build on our recent successes.

CASS is progressing with floating support service and working with various partners and people with special needs to provide relevant services in this regard to help those who are vulnerable or in real need covered by our provision.

Our organisation provides a service for young women battling self-harm/self-injury. We raise awareness of the needs of those who self-harm, support families and empower individuals to seek alternatives.

Our service will include:

- One to one free confidential advice on different support options and referrals to specialist organisations.

- Peer mentoring where individuals affected by the issues that we cover can work within our organisation under supervision as 'peer mentors' to support another vulnerable young person.

- Online self-injury support groups and Forums for individuals that self-harm- to create a platform to share experiences, understand causes and think of alternatives.
